Oooo Hesser... why do you do that?
Apparently Amanda Hesser in her recent review of the Spice Market, owned by her Pal Jean Georges got a 3 sta
r review last week. This is disturbing as it throws the once reliable NYT star system into turmoil. It amazes me how a resturant that serves "Street Food" earned a rating putting it on par with Gramercy Tavern.
Seems she has forgotton to mention her relationship with Jean-Georges and the fact he wrote the intro for he
r recent book. THe NYT felt the had to issue a correction on this fact to save face.
